What is the Definition of Fertilizer?

Fertilizers refer to organic, inorganic, microbial and mixed materials used to provide, maintain or improve plant nutrition and soil physical, chemical properties and biological activities, to increase the yield of agricultural products, or improve the quality of agricultural products, or to enhance plant stress resistance.
According to the "Measures for the Administration of Fertilizer Registration", the fertilizer product registration management system shall be implemented, and the fertilizer products without registration and filing shall not be imported, produced, sold and used, and shall not be advertised.
Fertilizer registration and filing application subject:

1) Enterprises in China
A domestic fertilizer producer formally registered by the administrative authority for industry and commerce with independent legal personality.​ Including "three capital" enterprises to produce products.
2) Fertilizer production enterprises in foreign countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
Applicants from foreign countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can handle the application directly, or through their offices established in China or entrusted agents in China.
