IECIC Update! Three ingredients are now managed as used ingredients.

On January 4th, according to the "Announcement of the NMPA Regarding Matters Related to the Management of the Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (IECIC)", the NMPA conducted its third dynamic adjustment to IECIC.

The updates to Catalog I are as follows: First, three ingredients—black ginseng extract, hydrolyzed zinc hyaluronic acid, and galactomannan—that were previously removed from the list of new cosmetic ingredients due to being classified as already used ingredients, have been included in Catalog I after review, with their inclusion clearly stated in the corresponding ingredient notes. Second, the Chinese names or INCI names/English names of the relevant ingredients have been standardized, and the notes have been revised.
