Updated the Catalogue of Used Cosmetic Ingredients

On October 20th, the NMPA made its second dynamic adjustment to the "Catalogue of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients" (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue").

Three new cosmetic ingredients, including lauroyl alanine,polymethylsilsesquioxane/trimethylsiloxysilicate, and bis-cetearyl amodimethicone, have completed their three-year safety monitoring period and, after evaluation, have been found to comply with the "Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulations" and other relevant regulations, have been included in Catalogue II. Catalogue I standardizes the Chinese names or INCI/English names of these ingredients.

In addition, a "Revision Suggestion" function has been added to the Catalogue's search page to facilitate comments and suggestions from industry companies and the public. The NMPA will carefully research and incorporate these comments, actively promoting the continued revision and improvement of the Catalogue.
