On September 15th, to further improve cosmetics technical standards, NIFDC publicly solicited comments on 18 cosmetics standards, including the "Draft for Comment on Total Colony Count Limits for Eye, Lip, and Children's Cosmetics" (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft for Comment").

This draft includes several significant adjustments, including changes to the limits for total colony counts and dioxane in eye, lip, and children's cosmetics; seven substances have been designated as prohibited ingredients in cosmetics; the restricted ingredient salicylic acid has also been revised; and the usage standards for three permitted preservatives, three permitted sunscreens, and two permitted hair dyes have all been revised.
